Politics

I did mention that this blog would concern politics. Here's an example. So, African Union (AU) and Somalian troops just took over a major Islamist stronghold. Good for them, but looking at this map,

This is a fragmented country. I'm glad the US isn't taking an interest in this, and staying out of it, but it might just turn into Africa's Iraq. Numerous confederations, coalitions, and terrorist organizations duking it out over an impoverished land, already war torn for more than a decade.
You wonder why the AU troops are getting shot at? Look at this tank. Would you want tanks, troops, and other weapons of war surrounding, killing, and who-knows-what-else-ing in your area? So, let's see what the Somalian government and the AU do here, or else this could drag out into a political nightmare for the governments, and a living nightmare for the people.
